QuickSignals Privacy Rights, Data Request & Opt-Out Policy

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

Last Updated: September 15, 2026

QuickSignals LLC ("QuickSignals," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy rights of individuals whose personal information may be processed through our websites, applications, social-intelligence services, business-intelligence services, contact-discovery services, prospect-intelligence services, and related products.

This Privacy Rights, Data Request & Opt-Out Policy explains:

  • What privacy requests you may submit.
  • How to request access, correction, deletion, or suppression.
  • How to opt out of certain uses or disclosures.
  • How QuickSignals verifies requests.
  • How we handle information obtained from third-party data providers.
  • How we prevent deleted or suppressed information from being reintroduced.
  • How authorized agents may submit requests.
  • How to appeal certain privacy decisions where applicable.

This Policy supplements the QuickSignals Privacy Policy.

1. Who Can Submit a Privacy Request?

You may submit a request if you believe QuickSignals processes personal information relating to you.

You do not need to have a QuickSignals customer account to submit a privacy request.

This is important because QuickSignals may process professional, business, social-media, publicly available, licensed, or third-party-provided information concerning individuals who have never registered with QuickSignals.

Privacy rights vary depending on:

  • Where you live.
  • What information we process.
  • How we obtained the information.
  • How the information is used.
  • Which privacy law applies.

We may honor certain requests even when applicable law does not strictly require us to do so, where reasonably practical and consistent with our legal and contractual obligations.

2. Privacy Rights That May Be Available

Depending on applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights.

A. Right to Know

You may request information concerning whether QuickSignals processes personal information about you.

Where applicable, you may also request information about:

  • Categories of personal information we process.
  • Categories of sources from which information was obtained.
  • Purposes for which the information is processed.
  • Categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed.
  • Categories of information sold or shared, where applicable.
  • Applicable retention practices.

3. Right of Access

You may request access to personal information QuickSignals maintains about you where applicable law provides that right.

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the information, we may provide:

  • A copy of personal information.
  • Categories of information.
  • Specific pieces of information.
  • A machine-readable file.
  • Another appropriate representation of the information.

Certain information may be withheld where disclosure would:

  • Expose another individual's personal information.
  • Compromise security.
  • Disclose protected trade secrets.
  • Violate another legal obligation.
  • Fall within a legally recognized exception.

4. Right to Correct

If you believe information QuickSignals maintains about you is inaccurate, you may request correction.

Examples may include an incorrect:

  • Name.
  • Employer.
  • Professional title.
  • Company affiliation.
  • Telephone number.
  • Email address.
  • Location.
  • Professional profile association.
  • Other personal information.

We may ask you to provide information reasonably necessary to evaluate the requested correction.

California, for example, provides consumers with a statutory right to request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained by covered businesses.

5. Right to Delete

You may request deletion of personal information about you where applicable law provides that right.

Subject to applicable exceptions, QuickSignals may:

  • Delete the information from active systems.
  • Deidentify the information.
  • Aggregate the information.
  • Remove it from customer-facing search results.
  • Suppress it from future distribution.
  • Take another legally permitted action.

Some information may be retained where necessary for:

  • Security.
  • Fraud prevention.
  • Legal compliance.
  • Exercising or defending legal claims.
  • Accounting.
  • Contractual obligations.
  • Suppression management.
  • Another legally permitted purpose.

6. Suppression After Deletion

Deletion alone may not always be sufficient for an intelligence platform.

Because QuickSignals may periodically receive updated information from third-party providers or public sources, we may maintain a limited suppression record after honoring a deletion or opt-out request.

A suppression record may contain limited identifiers such as:

  • Normalized email address.
  • Hashed email address.
  • Telephone number.
  • Hashed telephone number.
  • Profile URL.
  • Internal record identifier.
  • Another limited identifier reasonably necessary to prevent reintroduction.

This information will be used primarily to help honor the privacy request and should not ordinarily be made available to QuickSignals customers for prospecting purposes.

This helps prevent a situation in which QuickSignals deletes someone's information today and a data provider reintroduces the same information during a future refresh.

7. Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

Depending on applicable law and QuickSignals' activities, you may have the right to direct QuickSignals not to "sell" or "share" your personal information as those terms are legally defined.

These legal definitions can be broader than an ordinary exchange of information for money.

Where applicable, you may submit an opt-out request through:

  • Email: contact@quicksignals.io

Where applicable, QuickSignals will honor a valid request without requiring you to create an account.

California gives covered consumers the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

8. Global Privacy Control

Where required by applicable law, QuickSignals will recognize qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control ("GPC").

A qualifying GPC signal may be treated as a request to opt out of covered sale or sharing for the browser or device from which the signal is received, subject to applicable identification and account-matching requirements.

California requires covered businesses to honor qualifying opt-out preference signals, and Colorado recognizes GPC as a valid universal opt-out mechanism for covered processing.

QuickSignals will not require a person using GPC to disable GPC in order to use the website.

9. Targeted Advertising

Where applicable privacy law gives you the right to opt out of processing for targeted advertising, you may exercise that right through our Privacy Choices mechanism.

A qualifying universal opt-out signal may also apply where legally required.

10. Sensitive Personal Information

QuickSignals does not design its prospect-intelligence Services to provide highly sensitive personal information for ordinary sales prospecting.

Where applicable law provides a right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information, QuickSignals will provide an applicable method to exercise that right if our Processing triggers the legal requirement.

California, for example, recognizes a right to limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information.

11. Right to Object

Where applicable law provides the right, you may object to particular Processing of your personal information.

This may include Processing based upon certain legitimate interests or Processing for direct-marketing purposes.

We will evaluate the request according to applicable law and the circumstances of the Processing.

Under the GDPR, individuals may have rights to object to certain Processing, including direct marketing.

12. Right to Restrict Processing

Where provided by applicable law, you may request that QuickSignals restrict certain Processing of your personal information.

For example, restriction may be appropriate while:

  • Accuracy is disputed.
  • An objection is being evaluated.
  • Another legally recognized condition applies.

13. Data Portability

Where applicable law provides a portability right, you may request qualifying personal information in a portable and, where technically feasible, machine-readable format.

This right does not necessarily apply to:

  • Inferred information.
  • Proprietary analytics.
  • Trade secrets.
  • Information belonging to another individual.
  • Information outside the scope of the applicable law.

14. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

QuickSignals may use automated technologies to produce:

  • Sentiment analysis.
  • Intent classifications.
  • Lead prioritization.
  • Prospect signals.
  • Recommendations.
  • Business-interest indicators.
  • Summaries.
  • Other analytical inferences.

Where applicable law provides rights relating to automated decision-making or profiling, you may submit an applicable request through our Privacy Request mechanism.

QuickSignals does not intend its ordinary prospect-intelligence Services to be used as the sole basis for legally significant decisions about individuals.

The GDPR provides rights concerning certain solely automated decisions that significantly affect individuals.

California's updated CCPA regulations effective in 2026 also address certain consumer rights involving automated decision-making technology.

15. Opting Out of Direct Marketing From QuickSignals

You may opt out of QuickSignals' own marketing emails at any time by:

  • Using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the communication.
  • Contacting us at contact@quicksignals.io.

Operational or transactional communications relating to:

  • Account security.
  • Billing.
  • Legal notices.
  • Service changes.
  • Privacy requests.
  • Other necessary account matters

may continue where permitted by law.

16. Requests Concerning Prospect or Contact Information

If you believe QuickSignals displays information about you as a prospect, professional contact, or business contact, you may request:

  • Find My Data: Ask us whether we can identify a record associated with you.
  • Access My Data: Request qualifying information associated with your record.
  • Correct My Data: Tell us that specific information is inaccurate.
  • Delete My Data: Request deletion where applicable.
  • Suppress My Data: Request that QuickSignals stop making qualifying information available through prospect or contact-intelligence functionality.
  • Opt Out: Exercise applicable rights regarding sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or other Processing.

17. How to Submit a Request

QuickSignals provides the following methods:

  • Mail: QuickSignals LLC, Attn: Privacy, Atlanta, GA; contact@quicksignals.io

When submitting a request, please tell us which right you wish to exercise.

18. Information We May Request

To locate the correct record, we may ask for information such as:

  • Full name.
  • Email address.
  • Telephone number.
  • Company.
  • Professional profile URL.
  • Social-media handle.
  • Other information reasonably necessary to locate the record.

You should provide only the information reasonably necessary to identify your record.

Do not send highly sensitive documents unless QuickSignals specifically requests them through an approved secure method.

19. Identity Verification

QuickSignals must balance privacy rights with the need to prevent unauthorized individuals from obtaining or deleting someone else's information.

Depending on the request and applicable law, we may verify identity using:

  • Confirmation through an email address.
  • Confirmation through a telephone number.
  • Authenticated account access.
  • Matching information supplied with information already maintained by QuickSignals.
  • Verification links.
  • Provider-supported verification processes.
  • Another reasonable method.

We will seek to avoid collecting additional personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary for verification.

California permits verification appropriate to qualifying privacy requests, and GDPR guidance similarly recognizes that organizations may request additional information where reasonably necessary to confirm identity.

20. Different Verification Levels

The degree of verification may depend on the sensitivity of the request.

For example:

  • Opt-Out Request: May require little or no identity verification where applicable law prohibits unnecessary verification.
  • Correction Request: May require enough information to ensure we are correcting the correct person's record.
  • Access Request: May require stronger verification because releasing information to the wrong individual could itself create a privacy violation.
  • Deletion Request: May require reasonable identity matching before information is permanently removed.

21. Authorized Agents

Where permitted by applicable law, you may appoint an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf.

We may require:

  • Evidence that you authorized the agent.
  • Direct confirmation from you.
  • Verification of your identity.
  • Information verifying the agent's authority.

These requirements apply unless applicable law provides otherwise.

We will not reject an authorized-agent request merely because it was submitted by an agent where applicable law requires us to accept it.

22. Response Times

QuickSignals will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

For example, California's current regulations generally require covered businesses to confirm receipt of certain requests within 10 business days and respond to qualifying deletion, correction, or access/know requests within 45 calendar days, subject to a permitted extension in appropriate circumstances.

Under the GDPR, covered organizations generally must respond to Data Subject requests without undue delay and ordinarily within one month, subject to legally permitted extensions.

We will notify you where additional time is legally permitted and reasonably necessary.

23. Fees

QuickSignals generally does not charge individuals for exercising privacy rights.

Where applicable law permits a fee for requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline the request as legally permitted.

We will explain any such decision.

24. Reasons We May Not Fully Grant a Request

Privacy rights are not absolute.

QuickSignals may retain or continue Processing certain information where permitted or required for purposes such as:

  • Legal compliance.
  • Security.
  • Fraud prevention.
  • Protecting other individuals.
  • Exercising or defending legal claims.
  • Contractual obligations.
  • Detecting abuse.
  • Maintaining suppression records.
  • Fulfilling regulatory requirements.
  • Protecting intellectual property.
  • Another applicable statutory exception.

If we deny all or part of a request, we will provide an explanation where required by law.

25. Appeals

Where applicable law provides a right to appeal a privacy-request decision, you may submit an appeal at contact@quicksignals.io with the subject line Privacy Rights Appeal.

Your appeal should include:

  • The original request reference number.
  • The decision you are appealing.
  • Any additional information you want us to consider.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Some U.S. state privacy laws expressly require controllers to provide an appeal process when qualifying consumer requests are denied. Virginia, for example, requires clear instructions for appealing a denied request.

26. Non-Discrimination

QuickSignals will not unlawfully discriminate against you because you exercised an applicable privacy right.

Exercising a privacy right will not, by itself, result in unlawful:

  • Denial of services.
  • Different treatment.
  • Retaliation.
  • Discrimination.

Different functionality may, however, result where the information you request to delete or restrict is necessary to provide a particular service.

27. Information Obtained From Data Providers

QuickSignals may obtain information from third-party:

  • Contact-intelligence providers.
  • Data-enrichment providers.
  • Public-record providers.
  • Web-data providers.
  • Social platforms.
  • Professional-information providers.
  • Other permitted sources.

A privacy request submitted to QuickSignals generally applies to information controlled by QuickSignals.

It does not necessarily delete information independently maintained by another company.

Where QuickSignals is legally or contractually required to instruct a Processor, Contractor, Service Provider, or other applicable recipient to take action, QuickSignals will do so as required.

An individual may also need to contact an independent third-party Controller directly regarding information separately maintained by that company.

28. QuickSignals Suppression Across Providers

When QuickSignals grants a suppression or deletion request, we will not intentionally circumvent that request by retrieving substantially the same personal record from another provider for ordinary prospecting purposes.

QuickSignals may therefore apply the suppression record across information received from multiple QuickSignals data sources.

For example, if the same email address appears through multiple providers, our systems may use the applicable suppression identifier to prevent that email from becoming customer-visible again.

29. California Residents

California residents may have rights including:

  • Right to know.
  • Right to access.
  • Right to delete.
  • Right to correct.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing.
  • Right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
  • Rights concerning certain automated decision-making activities where applicable.

California businesses subject to the relevant requirements must also honor qualifying opt-out preference signals such as GPC.

30. California Data Broker / DROP Requests

California operates the Delete Request and Opt-Out Platform ("DROP"), which allows California consumers to make a deletion request applicable to registered data brokers.

Beginning August 1, 2026, businesses that qualify as data brokers under California law are required to access DROP at least once every 45 days and process applicable deletion requests.

If QuickSignals is legally determined to be a California data broker, QuickSignals will comply with applicable:

  • Registration.
  • Disclosure.
  • DROP access.
  • Request-processing.
  • Deletion.
  • Suppression.
  • Status-reporting.
  • Related obligations.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to state that QuickSignals does or does not qualify as a data broker. That determination depends upon QuickSignals' actual business practices and applicable law.

31. European Economic Area

Where the GDPR applies, individuals may have rights including:

  • Information about Processing.
  • Access.
  • Correction.
  • Erasure.
  • Restriction.
  • Portability.
  • Objection.
  • Rights concerning certain automated decision-making.

Individuals may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the applicable supervisory authority.

32. United Kingdom

Where UK data-protection law applies, individuals may exercise applicable rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act.

Requests may be submitted through the same QuickSignals Privacy Center unless otherwise indicated.

33. Complaints

We encourage individuals to contact QuickSignals first so that we have an opportunity to investigate and address a concern.

You may contact contact@quicksignals.io.

This does not limit any right you may have to complain to a privacy regulator or supervisory authority.

For example, California residents may submit qualifying privacy complaints to the California Privacy Protection Agency.

34. Records of Privacy Requests

QuickSignals may maintain records regarding privacy requests for purposes including:

  • Demonstrating compliance.
  • Preventing fraud.
  • Tracking response deadlines.
  • Maintaining suppression.
  • Documenting verification.
  • Handling appeals.
  • Defending legal claims.

Privacy-request records will not ordinarily be used for sales prospecting.

35. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Rights Policy to reflect:

  • Changes in law.
  • Regulatory guidance.
  • New privacy rights.
  • New QuickSignals functionality.
  • Changes in our data sources.
  • Changes to our privacy-request processes.

We will update the Last Updated date when changes are made.

Where legally required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
